For this project, I wanted to explore the relationship between the body's two most basic response functions: becoming hot and cold. To illustrate this, I filmed myself in clothes which were contrary to the environment I placed myself in. For example, in a hot room I had on multiple layers of warm clothing; in a shower with freezing water I placed myself with only a tank top and shorts. As a result, I could overly illustrate both sweating and shivering. To add on to this, I overlaid two natural environments which portray the same response as my own body did. When I sweat, I layered on condensation and when I shivered I layered on a tree blowing in the wind. This was to add a second layer to functions which are both extremely basic and reoccurring in nature.
